A place for every finished game

Fixes & polish: 1.3.1–1.3.1

  • Every finished Sudoku keeps its time, mistakes, and hints in My records. See your best and average times for each difficulty, or look back through recent games.
  • Earlier finished games on this device appear too. Your records stay here, ready to revisit without an account, even offline.

1.2.0

A fresh place to pause

  • A quieter new look, from the home page to your next Sudoku square.
  • Choose Paper & ink, Mist & pine, or Stone & amber. Light, dark, or your device’s setting — make yourself at home.
  • On your phone, the board takes centre stage. Find display settings, language, and rules in More.
  • Clearer notes, gentle highlights, and a little star on revealed squares. A digit takes a rest once all nine are on the board.
  • Install Calmtile for a window of its own and a quick way back. Supported browsers offer an install entry; Safari on iPhone and iPad has a short home-screen guide.
  • A new little C and a tile mark your spot — in your browser tab, on your home screen, and when you share Calmtile.

1.1.0

A place on your home screen

  • You can keep Calmtile on your phone’s home screen and open it in its own window.
  • After your first visit, the board is there even without a connection. Start another puzzle whenever you like.
  • New versions wait for your next page visit or refresh. Your current puzzle can take its time.

1.0.0

Sit down. The board will wait.

  • You can play a sudoku here. On a phone, the board, the tools, and the digits stay within reach.
  • Jot notes in a cell while you are still deciding. If a digit was only a hunch, undo walks it back out.
  • Pick a cell and you can reveal it. That counts as a hint. The other cells stay yours.
  • Pause the timer when you step away. You can hide it, too. Hiding only covers the digits; pause is what stops the clock.
  • When a pattern has a name, a short article is there, from a naked single through an X-Wing. Read one when you feel like it.
  • You can choose easy, medium, hard, or expert. Each one has twenty puzzles.
